Well what a "thing" Digg is. I really don't know if I would have the patience to trawl through just in case there was anything important. I guess because the mainstream media is such a monopoly , there is a chance that this gives people a way to share news which would not be widely known otherwise. i have created a feed for it on my Google Reader so I can use it a bit more to see if it's useful or not.
